Chartered Account by day, cartoonist and Writer by night, passionate athlete at twilight and dutiful householder on weekends  There are people who make things for the Western markets and those who do the same for the Indian market. I make cartoons for an audience who are rooted culturally in India but who are spiritually agile enough to assume Western sensibilities - who swear by Quentin Tarantino AND David Dhawan / Bharathiraja in the same breath - I make cartoons for this audience - the INDIAN diaspora in INDIA !

  1. Splendid work, Ravishanker. Saba Ash…and Saba Pati were incredibly cool touches!
The detailing of the spilled cereal was cool…not only (as Madan mentioned) the “Fawad endeavor” touch but also the inverted bowl…such good attention to detail…you know what I was looking for in the cartoon? Jaya Bachchan, watching a TV show called, “Sukh Koffee with Karan.” Tag line of the show: All sukh, no dukh.

Simply out of the park ! You should be Rene Goscinny

I did think of including Karan Johar with label KJO, De Niro as Rage-O and you know who as Bhejo but ended up differently.
