A VISIT TO THE ‘KING’

Blogger Ram Murali recently visited the ‘King’ in his courtyard.

I had the good fortune of hearing his narration in person in Tamil and some of the humour gets lost in translation but do check out his experience.

In 1993, Ilayaraaja wrote a symphony that was played by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. After decades, the Maestro has started writing another symphony. In an interview, he said that he has finished writing one movement for the symphony and he expects to get the other three movements done before this year ends.
